UP by Omega Training is more than an online training platform.

It's our digital learning and workforce-development platform for care organisations. It brings Omega Training's real-world experience together in one place, connecting online learning, practical training and the way your team develops at work.

What your team sees

Each learner logs in to their own dashboard, with the courses they've been given, their progress and what to start next.

Built for care, not for every sector

Big multi-sector catalogues give you thousands of courses and leave you to find the few that fit. UP launches with around 100 focused courses written for care teams, by trainers who work in care.

If you need something we don't have yet, ask. Standard course requests are built quickly, usually within 24 to 48 hours.

More than a course catalogue

Your subscription covers the whole online library, along with the support that makes training stick.

The full library, with no credits

Every learner can take any course in the standard UP library. Nobody has to ration credits.

Courses built when you need them

We aim to turn standard requests around in 24 to 48 hours. Clinical, legal, accredited or bespoke work is scoped separately and may take longer.

A Training Standards Review

We start with your workforce: confidence gaps, risks, inspection priorities and goals. Then we recommend the right training.

Online, in the room and on shift

Online learning links to classroom sessions, practical development and competence in the workplace.

Pathways for every role

Clear routes from new starter through to manager and strategic leadership.

Evidence managers can use

A training matrix, manager oversight, development plans and supervision prompts show what your team has learned.

One platform, every step up

UP follows how people actually grow in care work. Each step builds on the last, so the training a new starter does in week one leads somewhere.

Training that carries on after the course

Finishing a course isn't the goal. UP is built around what happens next, on shift and in supervision.

  1. 1

    Know

Learners build knowledge online, at their own pace and around their shifts.

  2. 2

    Apply

They put it into practice in the classroom and at work.

  3. 3

    Evidence

Managers see it in the training matrix, records and certificates.

  4. 4

    Develop

Supervision prompts and development plans set the next step.

Start with a Training Standards Review

Before we recommend anything, we look at your team. We talk through where confidence is low, what inspectors will look for and where your service is heading, then show you how UP fits.
